Printer Tips

 

BEFORE sending in a web ticket about a printer, please try the following. 

 

The printer will not print, what do you do?

  1. Check to see that you have sufficient paper in the printer.
  2. Check to see that you have ink in the printer cartridges.
  3. Check to see that the printer is connected to the computer.
  4. Click on “Start” icon.
  5. Click on “Settings”
  6. Click on “Printers”
  7. Double click on the icon for your default printer, this is the one that has a black check by it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. If there are jobs waiting to be printed in this box, highlight each job, click on the word “Document” at the top of the box and the click on cancel.
  2. When the box above is empty, click on the word “Printer”, then click on the word “Properties”, then click on the words “Print Test Page”.
  3. If the test page prints, click “Yes” and try printing again. 
  4. If the test page does not print, click “No” and follow the help tips given to you.
