How to add your contact information on your OnCourse Web Site

 

  1. Open OnCourse.  http://www.schoolworksite.com.  Log in.

 

  1. Choose My Website.

 

  1. In the upper right corner of the top frame, you will see an Edit Section button.  Click it.

 

  1. Add your contact information.
    1. Your Name
    2. Your content area
    3. Your school contact phone number
    4. Your planning period time
    5. Your email address (Remember to press the space bar once after the .us to make the link live.

You may enlarge it only to a certain extent.  If too large, it will not let you add all the information. Play around with it until you get it the way you want.

 

  1. Click Save and Close.

 

  1. Then, you would do the same thing for the bottom.  In that portion, you will need to put your class  syllabus that was given to students.  Make sure you cover what you will be teaching, your behavior policy, you grading policy (that should come directly from the teacher handbook about category weights) and any other material you deem necessary.  You may want to add the new ZAP policy about no zeros. 

 

Based on the policy of our new program, zeros are not permitted (ZAP).  Students who fail to complete assignments will be assigned a day to stay after school to complete the missing work.  The day will vary by teacher.  Students assigned to ZAP will be required to attend.  A bus will be available to take students home if they are not picked up by 4:30.

 

 

If you did your syllabus or course outline or whatever you may have called it in Word, you may, of course, just copy and paste directly from that onto the Web page. 

 

  1. Remember to click Save and Close.
  2. Exit School worksite when complete.

Go to “Check your Child’s Homework Assignments” in the left column and click.  Then find your name and click.  This is what parents see.
