How do I save to a flash drive?
A. Inset flash drive into USB port. Wait until your computer recognizes the flash drive.
B. Open “My Computer” from your desktop.
C. Double Click on the drive that shows your flash drive (will most likely be Drive F or G). This will open your flash drive. Minimize this screen.
D. Go back to your desktop – Open the folder “My Documents”
a. Ctrl + A -- to select all documents in the folder. If you get a message about hidden files, choose Yes.
b. Ctrl + C -- to copy all selected files.
c. Minimize this folder.
d. Open your minimized flash screen.
e. Ctrl + V -- to copy all files into your new folder.
f. If you have other documents on your desktop that are not in the “My Documents folder, you will need to copy and paste each of these individually onto your flash drive. (If you are having problems doing this, you will need to contact me immediately so that I may help you.)
