What if you were a young, pregnant woman and didn't know what to do? If you are a young, pregnant woman and did not know what to do....Stop and think! There are three things you can do. For one, you can talk to your parents and see if they can help you raise the baby. Secondly, you can put the baby up for adoption. the last things is asking someone you know that is responsible and respectable, if they can raise the baby. so pick a choice before you think about abortion.
Some young pregnant women get to see their babies everyday because their parents help raise the baby. The is the best solution because you feel like an adult but in a child's body. It's not hard to ask, just come out with it and be calm, cool, and collect. Think about it. You get to see your baby everyday and you do not have to worry about the safety because you know where the baby is and you get to spend time with your baby.
Do you want your baby to grow up in a safe environment? That's why one of the possibilities is foster care/adoption. Putting your baby up for adoption may be hard because you may can not let the baby go but ask the foster parent if you can come see the baby everyday. Think about it. Your child will be safe and sound knowing the real mom and the foster parent.
It is hard to find someone loving and caring, but chose a person you know to watch over the baby. You never know until you ask. Try asking an adult that may have children of their own and one who is experienced and ready to take on another responsibility. a family member is more helpful.
You may be thinking, "Why can't I choose abortion?" Well, think about it. Would you have wanted your mom to kill you? I don't thing so. So think about it before you try to kill your baby. Too many people kill their babies than keep them. If your parents went through abortion with you, you would not be here today.
If I changed your mind by now, you are going to be a great mom because you either decided to: 1) ask your parents to help you raise the baby, 2) you put the baby up for adoption, or 3) you asked a responsible person to raise the child for you. And remember: Think before you act.

Some dogs are big
Some dogs are small
Some dogs are short
Some dogs are tall
Some dogs are fast
Some dogs are slow
Some dogs are playful and always
on the go
Some dogs are helpful
Some dogs are not
Some dogs pick up trash while others
go to the pot
I like dogs a lot
I have one of my own
But every time I see him he’s chewing on
a bone
I have a pitbull
He’s big and strong
But when he’s mad you might want to leave him alone

The problem that I see is that everyone wants to blame others and do not want to take responsibility for their actions. This problem is a world wide problem that contributes to all of the problems that we have today. These problems exist because of the examples that are being set are being viewed by large audiences, repeatedly every day.
Some, not all athletes say,’ I am not a role model.” While the world is watching them, and children are trying to be just like them. The rappers with harsh lyrics, half- naked girls on their videos, and lots of bling say,” It’s not our fault we are just rapping bout our lives and what we know.” Look around, their lyrics are in the news at night in the form of killings, carjacking, robberies, and gang banging. We watch the rappers on the television and we strive to live the life they portray as fun and untouchable that ends up as false hope. This false hope that I can live this glamorous lives re-enacted in my language, clothes and dance as a start. Just look around on career day and see if you see more students dressed as football players, basketball players, and rappers instead of doctors, lawyers, and teachers.
Paris Hilton and Nicole Riche are glamorized on every television for doing wrong and braking laws. Everybody has the story but, the truth is these beautiful, rich women are not saying,” don’t do what I did.’’ They are making drugs and alcohol look fun. Don’t hear me wrong, I am not blaming these women for the problems in the world but a glance at their life is a start. They are not the only who set bad examples. Let’s look at the people who run the country.
The president is the most powerful person in the world and he rushed into war with his own agenda. After realizing he made a mistake, he then makes speeches that give Americans false hope, while the number of soldiers dying increases and gas prices to raise. He fails to say I made a mistake, stop the war, or say, “I don’t Know where to go from here.” To stop the war will take world wide prayer, but that’s not going to happen because, the people in charge of the schools took prayer out and instead hire teachers who have relationships with their students.
Look around at all of the big companies that pollute the air. They say they aren’t to blame for the pollution of the air, but smog alerts are and in the North Pole is melting, causing hurricanes, tornados, flooding and other natural disasters. Some politicians are committing fraud, molesting their children, and killing their wives. They say they aren’t but they usually are convicted for it in court.
Everyone is responsible for what is going on in the world, but the people in the media should show people who are abiding by laws, setting good examples, or helping others and glamorizing the results. Even I can do my part by watching less television and reading more. Anything that glamorizes an ethical world that is about helping each other may not be as fun and untouchable as the bad examples, listed in this paper, but can make an impact by being viewed repeatedly, and daily to a large number of people. There is a wrong and right way to live and consequences and results to follow.

The Mosley Triplets
By Amaris Boone
7th Grade -- Teacher -- Ms. Joiner
March, 2008
Beep! Beep! Beep! My alarm clock blared as it went off. I lifted my drowsy eyes and looked at the clock. It was 8:00 a.m.! Time to get up. It was Saturday morning and I had must started my babysitting job, which I do every Saturday. I’ve been babysitting the Mosley triplets. There are two year old triplet girls. Their names are Ahmarish, Cloe, and Nicole. I yawned as I slipped into my blue jean skirt and my pink and greet shirt. I jumped down the stairs, grabbed a pop-tart and a bottle of orange juice, and glided out the door. I jumped on my bike and headed toward 2347 Woodview Drive.
I rode into the driveway and walked toward the door. Mrs. Mosley answered and said, “Hello, Amaris!” Then she looked at her watch and said, “You’re early.”
I said, “I know. I wanted to be early for my first babysitting job.”
Then the triplets ran up and said, “Hey, Amaris!” They really didn’t say Amaris because they’re only two, and they can’t say Amaris. The actually say Ambris.
I said, “Hey, Nicole, Ahmarish, and Cloe.”
As Mrs. Mosley was leaving she said, “Amaris, I left the emergency numbers on the refrigerator, the lunch meals are in the refrigerator, and each one has their names on it. Call me if there are any problems.
I watched her as she walked out the door, and then I watched her as she backed out the driveway. I turned around and saw the girls staring at me, obviously bored. I asked them what they would like to do.
Nicole said, “Can we watch television?”
I said, “Sure.” Less work for me, I thought.
After an hour or so, Ahmarish said there was nothing on and they were bored. I thought for a second and said, “How about we go to the zoo?”
Ahmarish, Nicole, and Cloe said together in unison, “Yea!”
I said, “O.K. Let’s go.”
“Everybody ready?” I asked. We were outside, and Ahmarish, Nicole, and Cloe were on their tricycles and I was on my bike.
“Yes,” they said in unison.
“O.K. Then we’re off.”
In about ten or fifteen minutes, we made it to the zoo. As soon as we got there, they started running off. I had to run to catch up with them. When I didk they were looking at the monkeys. They were just staring at them amazingly. We moved on, and I realized there was a man following us. I turned around, and he pretended to look at an exhibit. We kept walking and stopped t the elephant section. The man was right beside me now.
I turned and asked, “Are you following us?”
The many turned and said, “O.K. You figured me out. Yes, I’m following you.”
I looked at him strangely. Obviously he understood and said, “Let me introduce myself. My name is Rodney Bridges, and I work for Johnson-Johnson advertising. You know, the baby company. When I saw these triplets, I was thrown aback because I’ve never seen triplets close up before. Well, let me get to the point. How would you like for these triplets to be in a commercial?”
I was stunned! I said, “Well, I’m only babysitting.”
Then he said, “Well, give her my card and tell her to call me if she’s interested. He gave me his card and walked away.
After that we hurried home and waited for their mom to get there. When she arrived, I waited impatiently for her to walk into the door. When she finally did, I told her about everything, and she wa just as stunned as me. She hurried to the phone to call him. I listened but couldn’t make out some of the words. When she came back, she was all excited. She said that they wanted to schedule a photo shoot on Friday at 4:00 p.m. I was so excited for the triplets. It was time for me to leave for home.
When Friday came, Mrs. Mosley called, and she said they wanted a $1.000,000 contract for the triplets to star in commercials. After I hung up the phone, I realized it was all because of me that the triplets had this big break, and I felt pleased with myself.

Tell me your secrets and I’ll tell you mine.
Open up your heart and I’ll open mine.
Tell me your ups and I’ll tell you my downs.
Show me the way and I’ll tell you how to get there.
I can tell you how it starts and you can finish.
You’ll be mines and I’ll be yours, because the world is what we holed.
Don't tell me that play, play stuff because I
won’t make it up.
Tell me your deep and dark secrets.
I won’t tell anyone. Tell me before I go.
And I will let you know!

I like to play a game called Forza Motor Sports. This game teaches me how to
race. In this game I have to make important decisions. When I play my game it makes
me very happy. I have won several trophies and unlocked several cool cars. When I turn 16
I would like to drive a 4X4 truck. Don’t worry though; I won’t be racing the truck.
I’ll be certain to save the racing for my game.

“A Mom Who Never Cared”
Mother where were you when I needed you the most?
The nights I cried myself to sleep.
You’ve really never seen my pain deep down inside when I said everything would be alright.
I was really wishing you loved and cared for me the way I did for you.
I recall my first bike, my first wreck, but I don’t recall you being there to pick me up and hold me tight, telling me everything would be alright.
You left me in this world stranded all alone knowing that you never cared for who I really was.
I always wished there would come that day you would actually realize I am the one who really loved you the most.
I was your birth child that you abandoned and left all alone, but all you did was push me away with the hate that you threw towards me.
So now I am gone and you have nothing to worry about, but you, yourself and that personal life that was so much more important than me.
Where are you now to worry about who I am or how I am doing fourteen years down the road?
Really I don’t even know who you are, you are just a stranger to me that I called momma at one time when I didn’t know any better.
So maybe one day you will try to come find me and show me where you have been all these years you didn’t care for me and when I needed you the most.

Our story begins in Paris, France
So if you will pay attention by any chance.
The story is about two, twin foxes
Who prefer to be free and not trapped in boxes.
Jondavu is the fox of Paris and Ronje is the fox of Britain.
These brothers are separated where it is written.
They wore clothes that were navy blue
To match people of 1792.
“Fox season! Fox season!” cries the birds.
:Oh dear! Oh my! I wish I didn’t hear those words.
Hunting season in Paris! This is absurd!
Said, Jondavu pacing, “I know it’s no lie, if it came from a bird.”
Jondavu called the bird to tell Ronjute.
To spread the news of this day.
Away he flew to the streets of London.
Where crowds and conversation was abundant.
“Ah little bird, I’m pleased by your motion
But I can’t cross the large ocean.
How will I get my brother in such a way?!
“Sneak a boat and supplies!
I’ll guide you with my eyes!
Said, the bird, ‘Your brother will be fine, I tell you true!
Now! Come here, I’ll tell you what to do.”
Heave! Heave! Did the desperate fox.
Who wante to save his brother from living life in a box.
“The boat is down! Get in!” said the bird.
And so Ronjute did, without saying a word.
Pow! Bang! Went the guns in France.
Jondavu looked out the window to catch a glance.
“Qel….I don’t to go out and jog.”
Said the poor French fox , “I’ll risk being caught by the hunter’s dog.”
Knock! Knock! Went the door.
“Allright, I’m coming. I guess I can take more.”
“Good day to you good sir, fancy the weather we’re having!” said Ronjute.
Jondavu was thrilled of the sight of his brother on such a day.
“Paris is a place of nice things and sights.
But I must leave for all days and nights.”
Jondavu stared at Ronjute.
Hoping he can find another way.
“Hold on, my brother! It’s still down.
But we are not the ones who should be gone.
The ones with dogs and guns are .
Ronjute said, “And by the noise they are not far.”
“I not one of violence but by tricks.
I’ll be easy. Like a dog getting ticks.”
“Tally Ho!!” shouted Ronjute and Jondavu.
“Hee Hee, hunters we have a surprise for you.”
Adieu……………….

This world is full of problems and tribulations, in need of dedicated people to help. Unfortunately, one person cannot change the whole world and find solutions to all of the world’s problems. However, individuals can try to solve one problem at a time and make a difference in their city or community. People should first be aware of existing problems and be informed on how previous attempts were made to solve the problem, and work together to find a better solution!
One of the major problems that should be addressed in society is the homeless issue. There are about 744,000 homeless people, as data showed in 2005, just in the U.S. alone! Although one person cannot help all 744,000 of the homeless, individuals can make a big difference by trying to help the homeless in their own community. With the collective effort made in every community, we can someday reach out to the homeless around the world!
In previous attempts to help homeless people, communities gave blankets, food, clothes and shelters...etc. They tried to give as much as they can, but it was difficult to help with increasing homeless people and limited amount of resources. People tried to keep giving but they didn’t have enough supplies to support so many homeless people. Perhaps giving things to the homeless to consume is not an effective solution.
Instead of giving things to the homeless, a better solution to the homeless issue may be to educate the homeless and help them in find jobs! Giving things for the homeless to consume will only last for a short period of time. By educating and helping the homeless to find jobs, we can give them a sense of accomplishment. When homeless people have jobs, not only do they accomplish something, but they also have the money to buy their own house, clothes, and food!
Hopefully this essay has educated readers on how they can make a difference in their own communities by improving homeless people’s lives. A possible solution is to give the homeless skills to find jobs, instead of giving them things for them to depend on others, like people have done in the past. Improving the lives of homeless will not only make you happy, but it will also make the world of a homeless person a better place! Please try to make a difference by helping people, including homeless ones, wherever you live!
