PSAT/NMSQT
PSAT/NMSQT stands for Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test and is co-sponsored by the
College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation.  It is a standardized test that provides firsthand practice
for students planning to take the SAT in the future.  It also provides an opportunity for eleventh-grade students
to enter National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) scholarship programs.
The PSAT/NMSQT is administered free-of-charge to 9th and 10th grade students at BHS.  Eleventh-grade students
wishing to take the test must complete registration in the counseling office.
