Eligibility Statement
Participation is on a volunteer basis and is open to all
students who meet the Baldwin County Board of Education, the
State Department of Education and the Georgia High School
Association eligibility standards.
Any questions about eligibility requirements should be directed
to the Athletic Director.
Students
on hold may not participate in extra-curricular activities
Athletics at Baldwin High School are grouped into fall, winter
and spring sports. Because of the nature of the games, cuts
may have to be made to limit the squad numbers in all sports.
Striving for Excellence
The athletic program at Baldwin High School is very important.
Participation calls for hard work and self-discipline on the
part of every team member. The athletic program strives to
promote a feeling of team spirit, good sportsmanship, and
individual excellence.
Baldwin is a
member of Region 2-AAAA. For further information, contact a
member of the coaching staff.
Letters and Jackets
Students in the band and sports program are eligible to earn
letters and jackets. The rules for receiving letters and
jackets vary in different fields.
