FCCLA, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, The Ultimate Leadership Experience

Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is an integral part of all Family and Consumer Science classes.  The goal of the organization is to help students assume their roles in society through Family & Consumer Science education in the areas of personal growth, family life, technical career preparation and community involvement.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a dynamic and effective national student organization that helps young men and women become leaders and address important personal, family, work and societal issues through family and consumer science education. It is the only career and technical in-school student organization with the family as its central focus.  Participation in national programs and chapter activities helps members become strong leaders in their families, career, and communities.

Chapter projects focus on a variety of youth concerns, including youth safety, family relationships, financial literacy, peer pressure, community service, nutrition and fitness, youth violence, and career exploration.

Involvement in FCCLA offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life.
